Soundwalk
I chose to do my soundwalk in Eastchester, I felt like I would be interesting because it’s not nearly as busy as the rest of the city. The specific intruments of this part of the city were mostly cars, loud trucks, people talking, and every couple of minutes you could hear the train passing. My soundwalk was around 11 a.m on a Tuesday so there was not many people outside. At a certain area near light street I found there to be a unique sound of peigons flying back and forth, they seemed to flock to that specific corner of the street. I also noticed the sound of cab drivers jingling their keys around in their pockets as they waited outside the train station for potential customers. The further I walked into the neighborhood the less you could hear the loud honks and the engine of the city bus. Sometimes you could hear people talking from inside their homes if they were loud enough. I found the streets with less taffic so peaceful you got lost in your thoughts, the only thing you could ...
